B. PRONUNCIATION: 
1. Lead –in:

2. Pre-practice:
- Asks students to listen and repeat / fg/ and / k/

Choose an action for each sound ( /g/ : stand up , /k/ : sit down ) . In grouyps ,one student calls out one word from 4 and the group performs the action according to the sound they hear. The student who is the slowest to do the actionb correctly will call the next word.

2. Pre- practice:
- Has sts do exercise 1 individually.

1.the past simple :

Past simple: used for an action that started and finished in the past. We often use specific time expressions 
Ex: Yesterday I visited my grandparents
* Time expressions: yesterday, last night/ month/ Sunday , ago , in 2010, in the past , when S + was/ were + .
Present perfect: used for an action that happened some time before now . The exact time is not important.
Ex: He has done volunteer work many times.
* Adverbs : ever, never, so far, several times , already ,yet
3- Controlled-practice:	
Exercise 2: Past simple or present perfect . put the vorbs into the correct form 
- Asks sts to complete the exercise individually. . Asks them to tell which phrases in the sentence help them decide if the verb should be in the past simple or present perfect 
- Gives feedback as a whole class

Exercise 5: In pairs , student A looks at the fact sheet below and student B looks at the fact sheet on page 33 . Ask and answer questions about the fact sheet to complete the information 
- Tells sts what they will need to use the past simple and present perfect to complete this task
- Reminds sts that they should communicate in completed sentences 
- Asks them to work in pairs to do the task
- Goes around to monitor 
- Take notes of any comon errors and corrects them as class later
4- Free-practice:
Exercise 4 : Write the sentences about yourself in the past simple and present perfect . Use the words from the box below 
- Lets sts do this task in groups 
Group1 : say out one of the word in the box
Group 2: make sentence with this word 
take turn which group with the most correct sentences is winner.
