We often use specific time expressions Ex: Yesterday I visited my grandparents * Time expressions: yesterday, last night/ month/ Sunday , ago , in 2010, in the past , when S + was/ were + . Present perfect: used for an action that happened some time before now . The exact time is not important. Ex: He has done volunteer work many times. * Adverbs : ever, never, so far, several times , already ,yet 3- Controlled-practice: Exercise 2: Past simple or present perfect . put the vorbs into the correct form - Asks sts to complete the exercise individually. .
