 Aims: 	By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
	- revise vocabulary about sports 
	- ask and answer about advantages of playing sports 
	Teaching aids: Handouts, blackboard, chalks, and poster.

I. Warm-up: 5minutes
-Do you like sport?
-What sport do you like to play?
-How do you feel when you play sport?
-Introduce new lesson: talking about advantages of playing sports.
-Come to class and introduce the lesson by asking some questions relates to sports.
-Lead in: Unit 12 THE ASIAN GAMES. Lesson B Speaking( write the title on the board)
-Listen and answer
-Copy down the title
 II. Pre-speaking: 10 minutes

Activity1: Brainstorming: Brainstorm ideas about advantages of playing sports.
Poster:

Activity2: Matching kinds of sports with suitable advantages (1 sport may have many advantages).

-Divide class into 2 groups
-Set the rule: 
+Ask Ss to think about advantages of playing sports
+Ask Ss to go to the board and write an advantage of playing sports
+ Stick poster on the board, read and ask Ss to repeat all of these phrases.
-Guide Ss to do Activity2
-Explain some difficult words.
-Listen
,observe and follow T’s requirement
-Listen to teacher’s guidance and do the activity.
Activity 3: Work in pairs. Talk with your friend about the advantages of playing sport, using the suggestion from Activity 1 and 2.
Example:
A: I think that playing sports is really necessary for our life.
B: Why do you think so?
A: Because it helps us reduce stress and have a good health.
B: I agree with you because it makes us more active, too.
-Ask Ss to work in pairs
-Call Ss to read the conversation
-Guide Ss to make the same conversation by using the information in Activity 1 and 2.

III. Post-Speaking(15 minutes)
Activity 4: Work in groups. Your close friend looks weak but he hates playing sports, try to persuade him to play sports by using the information in Activity 1 and 2.
