Materials: Pictures, textbook, posters, CDs Procedure: Time Content T’s and ss’ activities 5’ I. Warm-up: play game “Pass the secret” 1. I want to buy some bread. 2. I want to buy some books. 3. I want to buy some pens. -T divides the class into 3 groups A, B and C. -Ss in each group listen secret. Then they need to pass for their group. - If group pass the secret fast and correctly, they will be the winner 10’ 10’ 8’ II. New lesson 1. Listen and circle: a. Let’s play: “where and why” - T asks Ss look at the book in page 43. - T tells Ss how to do the task: listen carefully and circle. - T divides class into 2 groups. - T asks each group to guess the answer. - Ss discuss and predict. - T plays CD 2 times and asks ss listen carefully and circle. - Ss listen carefully and choose the answer. - T calls some Ss go to the board and write the answer. - Ss listen again for checking prediction and give feedback. - T asks Ss work in pair to practice the task. - Ss practice in pairs. - T calls some pair and gives feedback. - T asks Ss look at the picture and asks them to identify the characters in the picture: + “How many pictures are there?” + T tells Ss how to do the task: look and write. -Ss speak about the 4 pictures. - T asks Ss complete the task in 3 minutes. - T calls 4 Ss write answers on the board. - T checks the answer with class and gives comments. - T asks Ss work in pair to read. - Ss read in pairs – whole class. - T calls some pair and gives feedback. - T divides class into 2 groups A and B. - T explains the rule of game. + If they choose candy, they will ask and answer about where. + If they choose question, they will ask and answer about why. - If they have correctly answers, they will get 10 marks. - Ss play game to practice new structure. - The group has more marks, they will be the winner. 2’ III. Homelink - Practice structure by heart - Prepare the new lesson - T writes the homelink on the board. - T reads all the activities. - Ss copy down into their notebook.
