Lesson 3 (1, 2, 3 p.34) Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students can improve their listening skill and pronounce the phonics “cl – clothes, close; fl – flowers, floor”. Materials: Pictures, textbook, posters, CDs Procedure: Time Content T’s and ss’ activities 5’ I. Warm-up: play game “Decorate the tree” C L O T H F L O W E R - T divides class into 2 groups. -T gives a word and guides Ss how to do. -Each group will take turns to guess without finding the letter. + If the letter is contained in the word/phrase, you will get 1 flower. + If the letter is not contained in the word/phrase, you do not get flower. -The group finding out the answer more quickly will be the winner. 10’ 10’ 8’ II.
