III. WHILE- WRITING

 TASK 2

- T lets ss read quickly taks 2

- T explains some new words if necessary

- T asks some other groups to write a letter using some cues below

- T introduces the structure of the letter they are going to write

1. Opening: Introduce who you are ; say the purpose of your letter

2. First paragraph: say about what you like about the service

3. Second paragraph : say about what you don’t like about the service ; make suggestions if possible

4. Closure: thank the recipient for their time and attention; good bye

- T goes around and help if necessary

- T lets ss to work individually in 10 minutes.

I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to write a letter to express satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
II.TEACHING AIDS: textbook, pictures, handout.

I. WARM-UP BRAINSTORMING
- T asks ss to brainstorm the words relate to the postal services.
 Post office security staff 
Postal services
 Price subscribers
 Letter stamps networks
- T checks the answers and gives the feedback.
- T leads into the lesson.
II. PRE-WRITING
*TASK 1: COMPLETING THE TABLE
-T asks ss to work in pair to read the description of sperm whale and complete the table.
-T draws a table on the board and asks some sts to go to the board and complete the table.
-T gives Feedback and correct answers

IV. POST –WRITING 
-T gets feedback by asking some ss to read their work aloud.
- T asks some other ss to give remarks.
- T checks and gives the feedback.
- If there is enough time, T can have ss exchange their writing among ss within a group so that they can check their friend's work and give remarks.
V. HOMEWORK
 T asks ss to do the exercise on the handout.
- Follow T’s requiring.
- Do the task by writing on the board
- Listen to the teacher and take notes.
- Work in pair to complete the table.
- Go to the board and write the answers.
- Listen to teacher’s feedback and take notes.
- Take notes
Example writing 
Dear Mr. Director, 
I am writing about the quality of the services of your post office .
However, there is still something that I am dissatisfied with 
Firstly, the post office is closed too early. Sometimes I need to make an emergent phone call after 9 and this service is not available 
Secondly, the prices for sending oversea mails are far too expensive compared with other post office In the district 
Finally, there is no one to look after the motorbikes of the customers outside 
I would suggest that the post office should open until 10 p.m and that there should be someone to keep an eye on the motorbikes of customers. I'm looking forward to hearing from you
