- Skills: Develop listening, reading and speaking, writing skill.

III - Teaching aids:

- Teacher’s aids: audio, stickers, puppets, flashcards.

Ok, Today we will read a passage about Phong and then complete the table
-Have Ss look at their books and explain the task of the exercise 
- T read the text, ss listen
- T ask ss to read the passage again and do the exercise in groups 
-T hang out their work on the board and ask ss to comment
-Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation
- Asking Ss to look and read the sentences. Then find suitable words to fill in the blank.
- Guide ss to complete the exercise.
- Call on some Ss read aloud the sentences they have written.
- Check and correct.
- tell ps that they are going to am interview with one of their classmates about where he/ she did last weekend and report to the class.
Give each of them a piece of paper. Have ps work in pairs
- Call on one group to act out the game in front of the class
Play game in 3 groups.

* Have Ss play the game: Guessing game.
- Prepare a packet of milk and put it in to a box.
- Ask ss to ask some questions, T answers, ss listen and find out what it is.
II. New lesson.
- Ss look at the picture and identify the characters and what they are doing.
- Look and listen to Tom and Mai talking about their favorite food and drink..
Play the recording for the ss.
Play again, have ss listen and repeat.
Elicit the new word and new sentence from ss.
Teach the new word and new sentence.
Ask ss give some more examples.
Have ss read the dialogue.
Check some pairs.
- Ss look at the picture and identify the foods/ drink in each picture. Note down. 
-Ss practice speaking.
- Pair work; trade the answers within pairs for correction.
-Some Ss to read their answer aloud to the class, others listen and give comments.
- Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation
- 6-7 pairs. Others observe and comment.
- Ss work in pairs.
- Some Ss volunteer come to the class, the other give the comment.

- Have ss play the slap the board game.
- Work in groups to play the game.
II. New lesson. 
Look at the picture on page 20
Sets the scene, Mai’s mother offering Linda food and drink.
Plays the recording and asks Ss to listen to the tape twice.
T asks Ss to listen and repeat in chorus two times.
Holds up the specific character puppets in the air / points to each character and tell the whole class to say the appropriate line in the dialogue. 
Divides class into 2 groups, and asks Ss to repeat.
Has whole class repeated all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation
Check Ss’ understanding.
-Ss look at the books and elicit the characters in the picture and tell what they should say.
-Ss fill the bubbles and practice speaking.
- Pair work; trade the answers within pairs for correction.
-Some Ss to read their answer aloud to the class, others listen and give comments.
- Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation
- Guiding Ss to talk free about their family members.
- Ask pls to work in two groups of five
