SUBJECT AND VERB AGREEMENT I) SingularVerb: 1)SingularN or UncountableN + V(singular) Ex: This book is very interesting. Traffic is always busy at hightitme. 2) Every-any-some-no(Thing or Body) + V(singular) Ex: Everything looks bright and clean. That you get high grades in the school is very important. 4) Subject is collective noun used as a unit (Chủ ngữ là danh từ tập hợp dùng như 1 đơn vị) + V(singular) Ex: The footballteam practises everday. 5) Subject is a group of quality indicators: period of time, weight, volume, money ... ( Chủ ngữ là 1 nhóm từ chỉ số lượng: khoảng thời gian, trọng lượng, thể tích, số tiền...) + V(singular) Ex: Twenty-two inches is a tiny waist measurement. Fift dollars seems reasonable. Fraction +SingularN => V(singular) Ex: A quater of the cake is used.
