- Greeting

- Have students review the alphabet.

- Ask students to say the letter and the sound “e”.

- Hold up the picture “ jet” and ask “What’s this?”

 - Write the word “jet” under the picture and explain for students repeat “jet”

- Show the picture “ net” on the board, read , have students repeat.

- Call some students repeat.

- Write the word “net” under the picture and explain for students to say

 - Repeat steps with “ wet”.

- Have stusents repeat several times.

- Write the words: jet,net,wet on the board. Ask one students go to the board underline “- et ” and pronounce it.

- Ask students to open their book on page 42.

- Have students look at the “-et” on their books. Write the “-et” in the air.

- Introduce the song about the sounds “-et”.

- Play the recording for students to listen all the way through.

- Play the rocording, pause after each line for students to sing.

- Ask students to sing and point to the “ –et” and the words on their books.
