- Greeting
- Have students sing
- Review the alphabet
Ask students to say the letter and the sound: “ t” , “h” , say some words with them.
- Show the picture “ thumb” on the board, read , have students repeat.
- Call some students repeat.
- Write the word “thumb” under the picture and explain for students to know the sound //.
- Repeat steps with “ throw” and
“ bath”.
- Have stusents repeat several times.
- Write the words: throw, thumb, bath on the board. Ask one students go to the board underline “th” and pronounce it.
- Ask students to open their book on page 24.
- Have students look at the “th” on their books. Write the “th” on the air.
- Introduce the song about the sounds “th”.
- Play the recording for students to listen all the way through.
- Play the rocording, pause after each line for students to repeat.
- Ask students to sing and point to the letters and the words on their books.
