- Greeting
- Have students sing the song about the days of week.
- Have students review the alphabet.
- Ask students to open their book on page 6.
- Say the letter A, the sound /a/ and the picture with letter A.
- Repeat steps with the other letter ( A – M).
- Have the class say “ A – M “ several times.
- Call some students repeat.
- Play the recording for students to listen all the way through.
- Play again, pause after each line for students to sing.
- Ask students to sing and point to the letter on their book.
- Call some students sing the song.
- Say the letter “C”, ask students
to say the sound and point to the word with “C” on their book.
- Repeat with the other letters.
- Ask some pairs go to the board.
