I- The aims of the lesson: To help ss understand the topic of the lesson and practice speaking and answering (describing) about friends. * Vocabulary: Words ralated to friends, activities: smile, look like,.... * Grammar: + Simple present, simple past and simple future tense. + Structures: - What + do/ does + look like? - (Not) adj + enough + to – V; - seem + adj * Skills: - Main skill: Speaking. - Other skills: Reading, listening & writing. II- The objective of the lesson: - By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to know about the differences between the simple present, simple past and simple future tenses and know how to describe their friends. Warm up (8’) * Getting started: Introduce the new topic. + T asks: What do you often do in your free time? I- The aims of the lesson: - To help ss with reading for specific information- answer the questions describing Ba’s friends’ build, characters & habits. * Skills: - Main skill: Reading. - Other skills: Listening, speaking & writing. II- The objective of the lesson: - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand understand the text about Bao, Khai and Song for details. They will also be able to understand how to describe the character, appearance, hobbies of friends. III- Teaching aids: Text books, extra boards. IV- Procedures: 1. Review (5’) - Rewrite the new words of the previous lesson. - T describes some ss in the class, ss guess who are being described. Variation: Ss describe one teacher that everyone knows, one (student) guess. 2. II- The objective of the lesson: - By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to write a paragraph about themselves and about their close friends. III- Teaching aids: Extra boards. IV- Procedures: 1. Review (5’) - The words. - T introduces: In the last period, we know Ba has a lot of friends. Who are they? What are their characters? Do you think they are good characters? 2.
