English 10 – Unit 14: WORLD CUP
Part A: Reading
I. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
Identify the history of World Cup
Gain more knowledge about the biggest football event on the world- the World Cup
Enrich their vocabulary
II. Time: 45 minutes.
III. Techniques: pair work, fill in the blank, T/F sentences
IV. Lexical items: 
Elimination games, Trouphy, Globe, Runner-up, Champion, Host nation, Host, Jointly, Passionate, Govern, Witness, Honoured, Tournament.
V. Teaching aid: textbook, pictures,video, Microsoft Power Point, speaker.
VI. Procedures:

Then ask students some questions:
+What is the name of the song?
+Who sang this song?
+Where was the song sung?
