 Có hai dạng câu đề nghị, dùng để đề xuất hoặc đưa ra ý kiến ai nên làm gì:

- S + SUGGEST + V-ING

- S + SUGGEST( ANY TENSE) + THAT + S + SHOULD

Ex: a. I suggest fixing the faucet

 ( Tôi đề nghị sửa cái vòi nước)

 b. Mrs Mi suggests that Mrs Ha should get a plumber to check the pipes

 ( Cô Mi gợi ý cô Hà nên nhờ một người tthợ sửa ống nước kiển tra đường ống)

 Ngoài ra chúng ta cũng có thể dùng các cấu trúc sau để đưa ra ý kiến cá nhân:

I think we should + V1 .

Shall we + V1 .?

Why don’t we + V1 .?

How/ What about + V-ing ?

Let’s + V1 .

 1.Tenses

Since/ For, So far = up to now = up to present, already: rồi , Just: vừa mới, Lately = Recently: gần đây, once/ twice: một/ hai lần Ever: đã từng Yet: chưcd Before: trước đây 
Phrasal verds: 
 Các nhóm động từ kép (phrasal verbs):
 - Look after: chăm sóc	 Take care off : giữ gìn
	Call up : gọi điện Throw away : ném đi
 - Look for: tìm kiếm	 Take back: trả lại	 
 Put on: mặc vào	 Try on: thử 
 - Look out: nhìn ra ( ngoài) Take off : cởi ra	 
 Put off: hoãn lại	 Get on : trèo lên
 - Look up: tra nghĩ của từ 	 Pick out: nhặt/ lựa ra	 
 See off: tiễn đưa 	 Get off : tụt xuống
 - Turn on: bật, Turn off:tắt	 Pick up: nhặt lên, đón đưa
 Fill in: điền vào Keep on : tiwếp tục
 - Turn up: bẻ lên, xuất hiện Pick off : tước đi	 
 Give up: từ bỏ Break down: hỏng, làm vỡ
 - Turn down: văn nhỏ lại Pay back : trả (tiền) lại

B. Rewrite the sentences, using “ suggest”

I. Objectives: After finishing the lesson, students should be able to use the tenses.

I. Activity 1 : Adverb clause of concession:
Là mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ sự nhượng bộ bắt đầu các liên từ: though, even though, although (mặc dù) chỉ sự tương phản hay sự trái ngược giữa hai mệnh đề.
 S +V+ though / even though/ although + S + V 	
 Although it was very bad, we had a picnic.
 (Dù thời tiết rất xẩu, chúng tôi vẫn đi dã ngoại.)

Join two sentences into one, use “though, even though, although”
1. He is very rich. He isn’t happy.

Even though they tried hard, they weren’t successful.
Even though she is very intelligent, she can’t answer my questions
