- Duøng a/ an + dtöø ñeám ñöôïc soá ít. A + phuï aâm, AN + nguyeân aâm ( U, E, O, A, I)
 - Khoâng duøng a/ an khi danh töø ôû soá nhieàu hoaëc danh töø khoâng ñeám ñöôïc.
