Pre writing(10’) *Pre teach vocabulary. - T teaches vocabulary(key words) - T elicits the vocab from students (visual,explanation, synonym). (late in the evening) *Speaking Picture + wordcue drills. - T calls on some good students to speak in the class. - Ask bad students to repeat. - Ask Ss some questions to make sure they understand their task. - Ss tell the past form of the verbs : take, put, lay , run , catch 2. While – writing(15’) - Ss use the pictures and cues in P.26,27 to write a passage. - Ss write the passage on the extra boards . - Ss work in groups of 6 to write on the extra boards . - T monitors and helps. 3. Post writing(10’) - Ask students to wrap their writing and compare with their partners and correct . - Choose some writing to correct in front of the class - Ask students to write their passage (after correction) in their notebook. We took a bus to the countryside and then walked about 20 minutes to the picnic site next to the river. We put down the blanket and laid out the food. After meal we played the games “What song is it?” and blind man’s bluff. Late in the afternoon we went fishing. We enjoyed our picnic. When we look at the time, it was nearly 6.30 pm. We hurriedly gathered our things and ran to the bus stop. We were lucky to catch the last bus and we arrived home very late in the evening. IV. Correct the mistakes. V. Homework. - Write a correct paragraph in note book. - Write a short paragraph telling about your story in the past. It was a beautiful day, my friends and I decided to go on a picnic.
