Grammar : enough + to infinitive ( review ). 2. Vocabulary : (a) sociable, generous, reserved, outgoing, orphanage, volunteer, kind, helpful. (n) orphanage, character III. TECHNIQUES : Rub out and remember, predictions, Servey, Find someone who IV. TEACHING AIDS :- Extra-board V. PROCEDURE : TEACTHER’S AND STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES CONTENTS - Ss make a short dialogue to describe someone in the class. Ss also write new words - Ss play the game “ Find someone who . . “ T says: You are going to read the text about Ba’s friends. Each of them has his own characters. You scan the reading and tell me how many people the text describes. Befor reading I’d like to give you some vocab. - Which adjectives do you use to describe the one who always helps other people? - T uses definitions, synonyms, questions, Vietnamese to explain vocabulary - Ss take note and practice pronunciation. - T checks vocabulary by asking Ss do Rub out and remember - T sets the scene: These statements are about Ba and his friends, read them and guess which statements are True, which are False - Ss work in pairs - Ss read the passage within 3 minutes to check their prediction. Then they do exercises individually to choose the best answer. - They present before the class. - T gives the feedback. - Ss work in pairs to answer the questions.
