1) Pre – reading.

Present some new words to the students.

-Read then write on the board.

-Explain the meaning, give examples

-Students repeat in chorus then write on the notice-book.

Objectives:
 -At the end of the lesson students can:
 +Read for specific information about Alexander Graham Bell.

 +Vocabulary:
 emigrate to, transmit, conduct, demonstrate, device, deaf- mute.
 +Grammar: 
Past simple tense.

Checking the old lesson.(3’)
Check their works at home.
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.

-Review the past simple tense.
 +Using ”Brain storm” to complete the part.
-Give some pre- questions:
- Students predict the answers in groups.
While – reading.
- Students read the text to find out the answers to the pre- questions.
- Read one time and then do exercise 1,2 in textbook ( P. 22) .
-Call some students to check the answers.
-Give the correct answers.
-Guide the students put the events in the correct order.
-Using” Snowflake”
-Check their works.
Remark and give the key.
Post- reading 
-Call some good students to read the text.
