-Let the students look at the pictures and say out what each these people was doing at 8 p.m last night.

2.-Help the students using When/While with the past progressive tense.

-Let the students look at the pictures then talk about them.
-Ask the students to read the beginning or finishing part of the sentences.

I. Grammar.
1.Past progressive tense:
*Forms: S + was / were + V- ing ...
 S + was / were + not + V- ing ... 
 Were / Was + S + V- ing ...?
*Use: Express the event(s) which was / were happening at the certain time in the past.
- Ex: At 10 last night I was watching TV.
2. With WHILE and WHEN
3. With ALWAYS.
The adverb always can be used with the present progressive to describe continually-repeated actions.
II. Practice.
1. Look at the pictures. Say what each person was doing …..
