- Let the students to read the whole postcard then find the words to complete it.

Students use the postcard Mrs. Quyen sent from the USA as model and the suggestion they’ve just made to write their own postcards.
-Call some students to write their postcard on the board.

Dear Sally,
We are having a wonderful time in the USA. The weather is very friendly and the weather has been warm and sunny. In San Francisco, I visited my friend, Sandra Smith and her family. It was love/nice to see them.
I bought a lot of souvenirs for the children. Thanh is always complaining about the heaviness of my suitcase.

2. Write a postcard :
Image you are a tourist on vacation in a certain place/city in Viet Nam. Write a postcard to a friend about your trip. You need to cover the information.
Dear ....,
I am having a wonderful time in Ha Noi. The people here are very friendly and hospitable. The weather has been quite cold and dry. 
In Ha Noi, I visited my uncle, and had dinner with his family. It was nice to meet them. 
I also visited many places such as The West Lake, The Sword Lake, and Uncle Ho’s mausoleum. I bought many postcards and took a lot of photos.
