Greetings and checking attendances:
What is the weather like?
Who is absent today?
Checking the old lesson.(4’)
-Ask the students to read the dialogue.
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.
New lesson.(35’)
1. Pre - speaking 
*Help the students to remember some words of place.
-Explain the meaning.
-Students repeat in chorus.
-Write on the board.
*Guide the students study the way how to make and respond to requests, using “ mind” in the table on the page of 100.
2. While- speaking
-Guide the students practice speaking the structures:
-Ask the students some questions according to the true situation.
+Do you mind if I take a photo of you?
+Would you mind if I took a photo of you?
-Explain the requests how to do the work.
-Let the students practice speaking expressions in good intonation.
-Give some examples.
-Let the students practice speaking in pairs.
- Students work in pairs (one act as a tourist, the other acts as a tourist information officer.)
3. Post- speaking 
-Pay their attention to the form of verb after Do you mind and Would you mind:
+Would you mind if I did something?
+Do you mind if I do something?
Would you mind if + S + Ved....?
 Do you mind if + S + V (s,es)...?

- Agree: No, I don’t mind. 
- Disagree: I’m sorry, I can’t.
II. Practice.
1. Speak.
 Work with a partner. One of you is student A and the other is student B. look at the information about your role and use it to make requests and suggestions.
Student A: You are a tourist on vacation in Ho Chi Minh City. You want to visit these places: a market, the zoo, a museum, and a restaurant for lunch. Ask the tourist information officer to suggest where you could go. Use the expressions in the box to help you.
Useful expressions:
Could you give me some information, please?
Would you mind if I asked you a question?
I want to visit a market, could you suggest one?
Do you mind suggesting one?
That sounds interesting.
No. I don’t want to go there.
Student B: You are a tourist information officer at Saigon tourist. A tourist is going to ask you to help. You should make suggestions about which places to visit. The following information will help you.
Useful expressions:
Do you mind if I suggest one?
How about going to Thai Binh Market?
I suggest going to Ban Thanh Market.
- The restaurant is on Ho Tay Road.
