Checking the old lesson(2’) - Call some students to read the dialogue.(P10) -Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.(Today we will study how to describe a person….) New lesson(35’) *Speak Pre – speaking : -Help the students to study the new words: +Ask the students to list adjectives using with hair/body. -Let the students listen and read the word. -Explain the meaning. While-Speaking. Guide the students practice the dialogue according to the dialogue: Who is Hoa describing? She is describing Mary. What does Mary look like? She is short and thin. She has long blond hair. +Students work in pairs to describe the people in the pictures in page 11. Post-Speaking. - Ask the students to write down the descriptions of two people in speak 2 – Page 11 in their notebook. - Students work in groups: Describe their partners. *Listen Pre- listening -Help the students to develop their listening skill: +Review some expression. +Students read the expressions. +Read the dialogue to get the main contents in brief. +Let the students to predict: - Ss guess and complete the four dialogue ( P. 12, 13 ) While speaking +Students listen to the audio-CD and complete the dialogue. +Students check their prediction. +Listen one time and check. +Students swap their books to pairs. -Compare and correct mistakes for each other if necessary. Listen and complete the conversations. Use the expressions in the box.
