-Call some students to check their reading.
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.

*Introduction and play the Audio-CD and pick out new words 
-Students listen and give the meaning of the words.
*Guide the students review the grammar.
-Call some students to tell and give examples.
Practice.
*Ask the students some questions:

+Do you have one at home?
+What about your neighbors?

+Was TV a popular thing 30 years ago?
+What happened?
-Introduce the content of the lesson. 
Ask the students to read the text in silence to understand the content.
-Let the students read the text then complete the summary.
-Encourage the students to change their answers with the other.
-Call some students to write on the board.
