Objectives
-At the end of the lesson students can:
+Know more new words on the subject of a play at school.
+Read and speak different points in time in play activities in Vietnam and the U.S.
-Contents

The phrase is used: to take part in, to practice, to score a goal, to swap baseball cards with

-Read text at the page of 56 and look at the picture then answer some questions.
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.
New lesson.(35’)
Presentation.
 -Ask the students some questions about activities at recess in Vietnam:
+What do Vietnamese students often do at recess?
Talk, eat, skip rope, play marbles….
+Do you know what students in other countries/ in the USA often do at recess?
+What activities do you like?
- Play the Audio-CD. Students listen and find out new words.
- Ask the students to read each word in chorus aloud in turns.
-Call some students to read words aloud.
-Write on then notice-books.
- Ask the students to repeat some adverbs of frequency and the way to use of them?
-Give some examples.
Practice
-Let the students listen to the text.
-Read the text again to get the main content.
-Call some students to read the text aloud.
-Correct their pronunciation.
- Ask the students to read the text in silence again and list American student’s activities at recess.
-Compare with Vietnamese student’s activities.
-Let the students work in pairs to ask and answer the questions.

- Correct the mistakes if any.
-Ask the students to write the correct answer on the notice-books.
-Let the students do the short exercise in order to check their comprehension of the text. 
- Ask the students to work in groups of 4 to complete the table about activities at recess.
- Speak out your survey.
