Presentation
- Ask students to look at the picture and answer:
+ What is he doing?
 He is repairing things
 He is playing guitar.
-Let the students listen to the paragraph then find out new words.
- Ask the students to read each word in chorus aloud.
- Call some students to read aloud.
-Ask the students to give some examples.
- Ask the students to retell “present simple tense”.
- Make some examples.
Practice
Help the students to practice reading skill, and enlarge their vocabulary in the past 1.
-Ask the students about Mai in the exercise 1:
What does Mai learn? 
What is her favourite subject?
-Let the students to look at the pictures and answer some guiding questions.
-Introduce Ba: 
This is Ba.Tell me what he is doing.(He is learning how to repair a socket board in picture 1; and he is playing the guitar in picture 2.)
-Let the students read the text and tell where he is and what subject he likes best.
-Read the text quickly then find the main idea.
- Ask the students read the text in silence again, then find the information in detail.
-Work in pairs to ask and answer the questions.
- Call some students to read the text aloud.
- T corrects their pronunciation.
- Call some pairs to ask and answer before class.
- Correct the mistakes if any.
-Ask the students to write the correct answer on the notice-book.
