Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to review the future simple tense, ưrite an invitation to their friends to a party and develop reading skill.

1. Warm - up (5’)
* Game: Word spiders
Think to buy on birthday.
- Guess the answers
2. Pre - writing (15’)
- Have Ss look at the picture and elicit some vocabulary 
+ (to) have a party: (using a picture of a birthday party)
+ (to) invite:
+ (an) invitation card: (using realia)
- Have Ss read the text about Lan and answer the questions
a. How old is she?
b. Where does she live? 
c. When is her birthday? 
d. What time will the party start?
e. What time will it finish? 
- Look at the pictures
- Read the passage and find out information to fill in the card 
3. While - writing (15’)
- Explain how to fill out an invitation card 
- Have them read through the passage again and complete the card.
- Have them cross-check their answer in pairs 
- Correct 
* Complete the invitation card to Lan ‘ s party
