I. OBJECTIVES:
Educational aims: Remind students of public holidays 
Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Say and write the ordinal numbers, months, and the dates of the months.
- Develop listening skill.

2. Presentation (13’)

- Introduce the ordinal numbers 
 “Ordinal number is used to indicate the days in a month, and orders of things.”
Ex: Our class is on the second floor.
* Ordinal number = cardinal number + th
Ex: six à sixth seven à seventh
 ten à tenth eight à eighth
* Notes:
+ one à first + two à second
+ three à third + five à fifth
+ nine à ninth + twelve à twelfth
+ twenty à twentieth + thirty à thirtieth
+ twenty- one à twenty first ...etc.
