-At the end of the lesson students can:
+Greet, ask and know how to answer everyone's greeting.
+Know how to introduce new friends, how to greet again with new contacts.

For excellent students: Achieving all of the above requirements well.
For the others: Able to achieve a half of the above requirements.

-Ask about the total, and some questions: 
+How are you today?
+Who is absent today ?
+What is the weather like ?
Checking the old lesson:(4’)
-Introduce the content of the lesson to the students in brief.
( Now we will learn to greet, ask and know how to answer everyone's greeting.)
New lesson.(35’)
Presentation 
-Help the students to study the new words:
+Let the students skim and find out the new words.
+Write on the board.
+Explain the meaning.
+Ask the students to listen and repeat in chorus.
+Write on the notice books.
Note: On the occasion using projector let the students listen all the words –word by word.(slide 1)
Practice 
a. Ask the students to look at the picture and listen to the dialogue one or two times. 
+ Let the students repeat in chorus.
+Review the usage: Nice to see you, Nice to meet you.
+ Students practice reading the dialogue (a) in group of four in turns.
b. Introduce the situation about Hoa:
( Hoa is a new comer and she want to be friend with the other classmate.)
+Ask the students to look at the picture and listen to the dialogue (b) one or two times. 
+ Let the students repeat in chorus.
+Practice in pairs, in turns.
+Call some pairs to perform in the class.
-Read the dialogue then find out the answers.
+Call some students to check.
( Mainly pronunciation)
+Correct if any mistakes.
3. Let the students listen to the dialogue one time.
+ Tell the students how to greet the other without same age.
+Let the students listen to the dialogue again. 
+Practice with a partner in pairs.
 4. Call some students to give the greeting without same age.
- Listen to the dialogue.
+Explain the meaning in the box.
+Let the students listen to the dialogue and choose the correct answers.
+Complete the dialogues
+Work with a partner.
+Listen again in order to check.
+Give the correct answers.
+Call some students to check.
5. Ask the students to look at four pictures and give clues to the situations.
(+Who are they in the picture ?
 +Where are they ?
 +What are they doing ? )
+Explain the request and how to complete the exercise.
+Listen to the dialogue without writing.
+Look at the picture and listen to the dialogue then write the letters.
+Call some students to read.
