 Cấu trúc: S + like/ love/ enjoy/ hate +V-ing

 Ví dụ:

 I like swimming. (Tôi thích bơi lội.)

 She hates washing clothes. (Cô ấy ghét giặt quần áo.)

 My father doesn't like mountain - climbing. (Bố tôi không thích leo núi.)

 Ngoài ra, sau những động từ chỉ sở thích này chúng ta cũng có thể dùng to - infinitive mà nghĩa của câu không hề thay đổi.

 Ví dụ:

 My sister loves to make model. (Chị gái tôi thích công việc làm người mẫu.)

II. Sounds / ə/ and /ɜ:/

I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to: practice the Sounds /f/ and /v/

 *Pronunciation: /f/ and /v/
-Expain how to pronounce the sounds /f/ and /v/ and model
Đặc tính của âm /f/ là phụ âm vô thanh (voiceless consonant), âm môi răng, kết hợp răng hàm trên và môi dưới để phát âm (labiodental).Trong khi đó âm /v/ vốn là phụ âm hữu thanh (voiced consonant) âm môi răng, kết hợp răng hàm trên và môi dưới để phát âm (labiodental).
Trước khi bắt đầu, chúng ta cần phải làm rõ được 2 khái niệm sau: âm vô thanh và âm hữu thanh.
• Âm hữu thanh là các âm được phát âm xuất phát từ cổ họng. Khi phát âm chúng ta sẽ cảm nhận được sự rung của dây thanh quản. Các âm hữu thanh bao gồm: /b/, /d/, /g/, /v/, /δ/, /z/, /ʒ/, /dʒ/, /m/, /n/, /ng/, /l/, /r/, /y/, /w/.
• Âm vô thanh là các âm được phát âm nhưng không làm rung dây thanh quản, chúng giống như những tiếng động nhẹ như tiếng xì xì, tiếng bật, tiếng gió bởi vì những âm này được tạo ra từ luồng không khí ở trong miệng chứ không phải là luồng hơi từ cổ họng. Các âm vô thanh bao gồm: /p/, /t/, /k/, /f/, /θ/, /s/, /∫/, / t∫/, /h/.
Qua 2 khái niệm trên, chúng ta cũng đã hiểu được sơ qua về các âm vô thanh và hữu thanh rồi đúng không? Sau đây chúng ta cùng tiếp tục với bài học chính và thực hành ngay nhé!
Cách phát âm âm /f/:
• Chú ý: Đây là một âm vô thanh.
• Thả lỏng lưỡi trong khoang miệng.
• Đặt hàm răng trên lên phần bên trong của môi dưới.
• Giữ cho răng và môi chạm nhau vừa đủ khi đầy hơi, nhưng cũng không quá chặt vì như vậy luồng hơi sẽ không thể thoát ra được.
Thực hành phát âm âm /f/:
VD từ đơn:
• Find: /faɪnd/: Tìm kiếm.
• Fat: /fæt//: Béo.
• Far: /fɑː(r)/: Xa.
• Photo: /ˈfəʊtəʊ/: Bức ảnh.
• Office: /ˈɒfɪs/: Văn phòng
VD với câu hoàn thiện:
• Forty-five: 45.
• A family photo: 1 bức ảnh gia đình.
• I’m feeling fine: Tôi cảm thấy ổn.
Cách phát âm âm /v/:
• Chú ý: Đây là một âm hữu thanh.
• Tạo khẩu hình miệng giống âm /f/ nhưng hơi ra ít hơn.
• Dây thanh quản rung khi phát âm âm này.
Thực hành phát âm âm /v/:

• Seven: /ˈsevn/: Số 7.
• Have: /həv/: Có.
• Of: /əv/: Của.
• Violin: /ˌvaɪəˈlɪn/: Đàn vi ô lông.
