- Reading for specific and general information in texts.
- Guessing the meaning of new words based on clues including pictures and surrounding words. 
2. Language contents:
 - Grammar: The simple present
 - Vocabulary: - Use vocab and structures about body parts, appearance.
3. Techniques: Group-work, Listen and answer, Chatting, Gap filling, Individual , Pair work 
4. Teaching aids: -Textbook , extra board , pictures, cassette.
5. Time: Allotted 45 minutes

II/ While- reading
Ss read the text and check their ideas
R2: Ss compare the adjectives of personalities in the star sign with what they read about the five friends.
* Ask Ss to review the star signs and tick the adjectives they agree with , and cross the adjectives they disagree with 
III/ Post- reading: play a line -up game
Ask Ss to have to arrange themselves in order of birthdays. Support them by reviewing months and dates and giving a question and answer they can use : 
Pair Ss and ask them to read out their partner's star sign.
* Project: ask ss do it at home.
- Show the class some examples of yearbooks. Explain how to make // what a yearbook is and why ss like to make them. use photos, colored paper, illustrations …
