Knowledge: Vocabulary: the lexical items related to the topic “ Our houses in the future” - Grammar: - will + Vbare-infinitive for the future - might + Vbare-infinitive for the future possibility 2. Skills: Practicing skills: listening, reading, writing, speaking 3. Attitude: - Encourge Ss to discover types of houses and modern appliances in the world. - Ss are interested in doing exercises. 4. There are 2 lucky eggs. - T tells the rule of this game: The topic today is types of house. If you find out lucky eggs, you don’t need to answer the questions and you have 1 point. If it’s not a lucky eggs, you have to answer the question. Your answer is true, you will get 1 point. If it’s false, the other team will answer that question. - T asks Ss to choose their turn. - T gets feedback and corrects - T declares and congratulates the winner. - T introduces the new lesson. You are going to read the text about a future house. - Before reading, T gives Ss some new words (*) Step: - T elicits Ss for the meaning of the new words. - T shows the meaning - T models pronunciation of the new words. -T calls the whole class to read them again - T calls 2 Ss to repeat the new words. - T gets Ss to copy them into notebooks (*) Steps: - T draws 5 circles and elicits the words from the Ss. - T writes the words in circles. - T gets Ss to read the words again 2 times. - When all the words are on the board, T rubs out one of the words but still keeps the circles. - T gets Ss to read the words, including the rubbed out word by pointing at the empty circle. - T rubs out another word but leaves the circle. - T points to the words or the empty circle. - T continues till all the words are rubbed out. - T gets 2 Ss to wrote the words again. - T checks Ss’ pronunciation. You choose the box and answer the question. If your answer is true, you can get 10 points and open this box, you will see a part of hidden picture. If your answer is wrong, the other team can answer your question. When you open 2 boxes, you can guess the hidden picture immediately, you can get 50 points.
