I. Warm up:
Game: Jumbled words
(Using the words: good morning; Good evening; Good afternoon)
- Ask sts to go to the board and write their answers.
- Give feedback.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson.
1. Look, listen and repeat
- Set the scene.
- Give instructions.
- Play the recording all the way through.
- Replay the recording for sts listen and repeat.
- Divide class into 2 groups and ask them to play roles.
- Ask sts to do further practice in pairs.
- Check to make sure that sts can repeat and understand the dialogues.
2. Practice.
- Set the scene for sts to elicit the pattern:

- Ask sts to work in pairs based on the pictures on the book then practise freely.
- Move around to offer help.
- Call on some pairs to perform the task.

Resources: handmade puppets, robot-teacher, photographs of students D. Procedure: I. Warm up: - Says hello to the class and introduce yourself, using Hello, I’m + your name. Walks around the class to say hello again to some pupils and ask them to answer. II. New lesson. Introduce the new lesson 1. Listen and tick: - Ask sts to look at the pictures and guess what are they saying. - Play the recording for sts to listen and tick the correct pictures - Play the recording again for sts to check their answers. - Give feedback. * Key: 1. Listen and number: - Ask sts to turn to page 9 and look at part 4. - Let sts describe the pictures. - Give instruction. - Ask sts to do the task individually. - Move around to offer helps if necessary. - Ask sts to exchange their answers with their partners. - Call on some sts to report the answers. - Give feedback and check sts to understand the text.
