D. Procedure:
I. Warm up: 
* Jumbled words (Using the subjects)
- Comment.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson.
 1. Listen and tick
 - Run through.
- Ask sts to look at the pictures and guess what are they doing.
- Play the recording for sts to listen all the way through.
- Let sts liste again and tick the correct pictures.
- Play the recording again for sts to check their answers.
- Give feedback.

2. Look and write.
- Have sts look at the picures on page 53.
- Ask sts what they have to do in this task.
- Ask them to discuss and complete the blanks.
- Call someone to write on the board.
- Check and correct mistakes.

I. Warm up: 
- Ask sts about subjects using What subject is this?.
- Correct sts’ pronunciation.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson.
1. Look, listen and repeat
- Elicit sts to talk about the pictures at part 1 on page 54.
- Set the scene.
- Give instruction.
- Play the recording all the way through.
- Replay the recording for sts listen and repeat.
- Divide class into 2 groups and ask them to play roles.
- Ask sts to do further practice in pairs.
- Check to make sure that sts can repeat and understand the dialogue.
 2. Point and say.
- Point to picture a and have sts repeat the date under the picture.

- Ask sts to work in pairs with the pictures then practise freely.

C. Resources: handmade puppets, robot-teacher, photographs of greeting.
D. Procedure:
I. Warm up: 
- Ask sts to recall what they have been learnt from the last lesson.
- Comment.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson.
1. Listen and repeat
- Have sts to concerntrate on: ct, cts in the words: subject, subjects.
- Pronounce the focused sounds a few times as a model.
- Play the recording twice for sts to listen and repeat.
- Ask sts to repeat and others give feedback.
- Let sts listen to the CD again then tell how to pronounce the sound of the letters: ct, cts in the words: subject, subjects.
- Ask them to compare the sound of these wordswith Vietnamese.
- Give feedback.
