 Lesson 1. Sections 1, 2, 3.
Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ps will be able to ask and answer questions about toys, using Do you have +(words for toys)? 
 Skills : Listening and talking.
 Task: Look, listen and repeat; point and say; Let’s talk
 B. New language:
 Vocabulary: doll, car, robot, puzzle, teddy bear.
 Sentence patterns: Do you have a robot ? 
 Yes, I do/ No, I don’t.
C. Procedures:
 I. Warm up: - Have Ps to say the chant How many desks?
Draw Ps’ attention to the title of the units and check comprehension. Have them repeat it once or twice.
- Tell Ps that they are going to practise asking and answering the questions about toys they have, using Do you have +(words for toys)? 
II.New lesson:
1. Look, listen and repeat.
- Give a few seconds for Ps to look at the first picture and elicit the name of the characters and what they say.
- Ask Ps to repeat the text a few times. Repeat the procedure with the second picture. Give the meaning of unfamiliar words : robot, teddy bear
 and have them repeat the text in the pubbles a few times.
- Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking.
- Play the recording for Ps to listen and say along line by line.
Sentence patterns: Do you have a robot? 
 Yes, I do/ No, I don’t.
2. Point and say.
 - Tell Ps that they are going to practise more in asking and answering the questions about toys they have, using Do you have +(words for toys)? 
- Point to each picture and elicit the meaning of new words.
 doll, car, puzzle
 - Have Ps to listen and repeat each of the words a few times. 
- Give a few seconds for Ps to look at the first picture and read the text. Point to picture a and prompt Ps to say the question and answer. Put the question and answer on the board and have Ps repeat each of them a few times. Repeat the procedure with the rest. 
Example: 
 Picture a: Do you have a doll? 
 Yes, I do.
 c. Do you have a robot? 
 No, I don’t
- Have Ps repeat the example a few times.
- Do choral and individual repetition, using the pictures in the book.
- Get Ps to practise in pairs, replacing doll by given words in the pictures.
- Check as a class.
Note: Raising tone in the question the answer.
3. Let’s talk. 
- Tell Ps that they are going to practise more with their friends. Give a few seconds for Ps to look at the picture and read the text. Check their understanding and give feedback. Point to a room and elicit the word filling the gap. Put the question and the answer on the board and have a pair act out the dialogue as an example before starting the activity. Put the sentence on the board and do choral and individual repetition.
Example: a. Do you have a doll? 
 Yes, I do.
 c. Do you have a teddy bear? 
 No, I don’t 
 - Have Ps work in pairs, using the picture in the book. Go around to offer help and correct the pronunciation, If necessary.
- Call some pairs to act out the dialogue in front of the class.

A. Objectives: By the end of the period, Ps can be practised more in asking and answering about toys they have, using Do you have +(words for toys)? 
 Skills: Listening and reading, writing.
Tasks: Listen and number, Read and write and Let’s write.
B. Teaching aids : recordings.
C. Procedures : 
 I.Warm up:
- Greeting and using the picture in section 3 (page 26) and have some pairs to ask and answer about toys they have, using Do you have +(words for toys)? 
II.New lesson:
4. Listen and number.	
- Tell Ps that they are going to listen and number the correct boxes. Give a few seconds for Ps to look at the pictures and identify the things and their quantity in the picture Check understanding and give feedback.
- Play the recording three times for Ps to listen, do the task and check their answers.
- Get Ps to swap and check their answers before checking as a class.
Audio script:
Nam: Do you have a puzzle? 2. Mai: Do you have a yo-yo?
 Mai: Yes, I do. Peter: No, I don’t. I have a robot.
3. Nam: Do you have a ball? 4. Mai: Do you have a yo-yo?

- Get Ps to swap and check their answers before checking as a class.

5. Read and write.
- Tell Ps that they are going to look at the picture and read the text in silence and find words to fill in the gaps. Check comprehension and remind the familiar vocabulary of colours: blue, red. 
- Give Ps time to do the task. T goes around for help, if necessary.
- Get a few Ps to read their writing to the class.
- Write the correct answers on the board for Ps to correct other’s answer.

- Call individual Ps to read the text aloud.
6. Let’s write.
- Tell Ps that this is a personalized activitiesin which Ps use real facts in their writing. -- Give Ps a few seconds to read the questions in silence. Call one pupil to the front of the class to give a demonstration as an example. Check comprehension and give feedback.
 - Give Ps time to do the task. Go around to offer help with their writing.
 - Get Ps to swap and check their answers before calling different individuals to read their writing aloud.
- Then call a few ps to write their answers on the board and correct their spelling, grammartical errors, if necessary.

- Tell Ps that they are going to practise asking and answering the questions about someone’s toys, using Does he/ she have +( words for toys)?
II.New lesson:

 - Sing each line of the lyrics and have Ps repeat it a few times. When Ps are familiar with the tune, show them how to sing the song and do the actions.
- Give the meaning of the new vocabulary: little, dress, sure, everywhere.
- Get group of Ps to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions.
- Have the whole class sing the song and do the actions to rainforce learning.

 Lesson 3: 1, 2 , 3 
A. Objectives: By the end of the period, Ps can pronounce the sound of the letters pl in the words plane and sh in the word ship respectively.
Skills: Listening, writing and chanting.
Tasks: Listen and repeat; Listen and write; Let’s chant.
B. New language: 
Phonics : / pl/; /sh/.
C. Procedures: 
Warm up: Sing the song Linda has a little doll.
1. Listen and repeat: 
. Tell Ps that they are going to practice saying the letters, words and sentences in the book. Put the phonics letters pl and sh on the board and say them a few times. Ask Ps to listen and repeat. Prompt Ps to say the words plane, ship and sentences She has a plane and Do you have a ship? paying attention to the target phonics letters. Do the choral repetition of the words and sentences until Ps feel confident.
2. Listen and write.
- T tells Ps that they are going to do a dictation. Give Ps a few seconds to read the text in silence before starting the dictation.
- Have Ps swap and check their answers before checking as a class.T writes the correct answers on the board for Ps to copy down into their notebooks.
 - Get Ps work in pairs to practice saying the sentences.

3. Let’s chant.
- Tell Ps that they are going to say the Do you have a doll? chant. Teach the chant.
- Play the recording through for Ps to listen.
- Read each line of the chant and have Ps repeat it a few times. Show them how to say the chant and do the actions.
- Ask groups of Ps to sit face to face and practise chanting and doing the actions. Go around to offer help, if necessary.
- Call two groups to the front of the class to chant and do the actions. The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm.

Tasks : Read and complete; Write about you; Project.
B. Procedures :
 Warm up: Have Ps to say and act out the Do you have a doll? chant.
4. Read and tick.
- Tell Ps that they are going to read and complete the text. Give them a few seconds to look at the picture and read the text in silence. Check comprehension and give feedback. 
- Give time for Ps to do the task.
- Tell Ps to swap and check their answers before checking as a class.
 - Call a few pupils to read aloud the exchanges.

5. Write about you.
- Tell Ps that this is a personalized activities in which Ps write the answers, using real facts. Give a few seconds to look at the picture and read the text in silence. Check comprehesion and give feedback. 
- Role-play the dialogue with a few pupils, where you play “your friend”.
- Give time for Ps to do the task. Go around for help, if necessary.
- Tell Ps to swap and check their answers before checking as a class.
- Call a few Ps to write their answers on the board. Correct their spelling, grammartical errors, if necessary.
 - Do choral and individual repetition of the sentences on the board.
6. Project. 
.Tell Ps that they are going to make a paper toy that they like, for example, a ship, or a plane or a bird. Then they will give a presentation of their work to the class. Check understanding. 
- Get Ps to prepare necessary school things to carry out the project (colour pencils, crayons, paper).
- Give Ps time to do the project in the class. Encourage them to decorate their paper toy. Go around to offer help, if necessary.
- If there isn’t enough time , ask Ps to do the project at home as homework.
- Have Ps to work in pairs, asking and answering questions about their toys.
E.g: Do you have a paper toy?
 Yes, I do. This is a paper plane.
 It’s a big/ small.
 It’s green/ white.
- Have Ps to sing the song Linda has a little dolll and say the chant Do you have a doll? to end the class.
