II. PROCEDURE

2. Vocabulary
- big: to, lớn (antonym)

- classroom: lớp học (explanation)

3. Look, listen and repeat.
- Ask Ss to identify the characters in the pictures on page 46 and and identify the question:

Week: 12. Teaching date: 07 /12/ 2020 Period: 41. Unit 6: Stand up! Lesson 3: 4, 5, 6 A. Aim: By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: - Give and respond to instructions, ask for and give permission. B. Language focus - Review. C. Resources: Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. D. Procedure: I. Warm up. - Ask sts to sing the “come in and sit down” song. - Lead in the new lesson. II. New lesson 1. Read and match. - Run through. - Set the scene. - Tell pupils that they are going to read the sentence havlves on the left andpair them with those on the right by drawing a line between them.Give a few seconds for pupils to read the text in silence. Check comprehension. Discuss the first sentence with pupils as an example. - Ask sts to read the sentences and do the task individually . - Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary - Have sts trade the answers in pairs for correction - Call on some sts to report their answers. Others listen and comment. - Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation. Key: 1. C 2. E 3. B 4. D 5. A 2. Look, read and write. - Tell pupils that they are going to look at the pictures and fill the gaps. Give pupils a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the textin silence. Check comprehension and give feedback. - Give pupils time to do the task. Go around to offer help, if necessary. - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class. Write the correct answer on the board for pupils to copy down into their notebook. - Do choral and individual repetition of the sentences. Key: 1. Sit 2. Talk 3. Go out/ you can 4. Stand up/ you can’t 3. Project - Tell pupil that they are going to write the instructions they have learnt and put them in a box. Then they pick some instructions and act them out. Check understanding . Get pupils to prepare the necessary school thing to carry out the project( paper, pens, scissors,etc) - Give pupils time to write the instructions in class. Get pupils to work in groups. Go around to offer help, if necessary. - Have pupils play a game of Simon says using the instructions and end the class with the Come in and sit down song. III. What are they talking about? - You are going to listen the dialogue between Mai and Linda. Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen as they read the dialogue. Play the recording again for Ss to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles two times. Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking Play the recording again for the whole class to repeat each line in the text a few times. Ensure their correct pronunciation (sentence stress, the assimilation of sound and intonation). - elicit ss to give new structure. That's the + (school facility) 4. Point and say Have Ss look at the pictures a, b, c and d on page 46 to practice in pairs. Run through the word. - T models: That's the library . Monitor the activity, check the pronunciation ( sound, assimilation of sound and intonation) and offer help when necessary. Do choral and individual repetition, using the pictures in the book. - Ask ss to practise in pairs. 5. Let's talk. - Ask Ss open their book page 46 and look at the pictures. T runs through. T models: That’s the library.(ask ss to repeat it a few times). T asks ss to go around and talk about the rooms in the pictures. Have pupils work in pairs, using the picture in the book. Go around to offer help and correct the pronunciation. Open pairs- close pairs. T gives feedback. 6. Homework: - Practice the form –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Week: 12. Teaching date 10/ 12/ 2020 Period: 43. UNIT 7: That's my school. Lesson 1( part 4, 5, 6) I.OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to pracice futher on introducing one's friend and responding to the introduction through listening and writing. * Resourse: textboook, record II. PROCEDURE 1. Warm-up: slap the board T introduces the game with the words: school, gym, classroom T devides class into 2 teams: A and B. T controls- ss play. T gives feedback and introduces new lesson. 2. Listen and tick. Have Ss look at pictures on page 47 Give a few seconds for pupils to look at the pictures. Check understandingby eliciting the names of the school facilities and give feedback. Set the scence: “you are going to listen to the recording, match the information they hear to the pictures and tick the box in the appropriate picture". 1st:Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen while they are looking the pictures in their books. 2nd: play the recording for Ss to listen and tick the correct pictures. 3rd: play the recording for Ss to check their answers. Have Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction. Ask some questions to ensure Ss’ comprehension of the listening text. *Answer keys: 3. Look and write. Have Ss look at Pictures part 2. Give a few seconds for ss to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. Check comprehension and give feedback. Have Ss to work individually to do the exercise. Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary/ correct typical pronunciation errors. Get ss to swap and check their answers before calling different individuals to read the sentences aloud. Ss listen to the song 3 times. Ss listen sentence by sentence and repeat. Ss listen and sing along. Ss sing the song to reinforce their pronunciation. 5. Homework Week: 12. Lesson 2( part 1, 2, 3) I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer question about school facilities. * Teaching aids: pictures, word cards, cassette... II.Procedures: 1. Warm up: T asks ss to sing the song " This is the way we go to school " T gives feedback and introduces new lesson. 2. Vocabulary. Large: rộng (antonym) new: mới (antonym) old: cũ (antonym) * Checking vocabulary: R-O-R. 3. Look, listen and repeat. Have Ss to look at the book at page 48; identify the characters in the picture and what they are speaking. *set the scene: Giving introduction of the text Play the recording and asks Ss to listen to the tape twice. T asks Ss to listen and repeat in chorus three times. Have Ss listen to the recording as they read the lines in the speech bubbles Play the recording again for Ss to repeat the dialogue. Let Ss practice the dialogue in pairs Gets some pairs to read it aloud Play the recording again for the whole class to repeat each line in the speech bubbles to reinforce their pronunciation . T gives a situation to present (using picture) T elicits the structures by asking Ss to speak out the model sentence: Is the +N( school facility)? Yes,it is? No,it isn’t. 4. Point and say. Have Ss look at the pictures and introduce four characters Have Ss to repeat the sentences in the bubbles a few times . Have the class repeat all the phrases. Have Ss to work in pairs. Monitor the activity, check the pronunciation ( sound, assimilation of sound and intonation) and offer help when necessary. Call on some pairs to perform the task at the front of the class. Others observe and comment. Make some questions to check Ss’ comprehension of language. Have the whole class repeat all the phrases to reinforce their pronunciation.. 5. Let’s talk. - Have Ss look at the pictures on page ( part 3) and identify the the school facilities in the pictures. Have Ss to repeat the sentences in the bubbles a few times before letting them practice freely. T models: Is the classroom? Yes, it is..(ask ss to repeat it a few times) Have Ss to work in pairs (use the names in their books or the real names to practice). Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary/ correct typical pronunciation errors. - Call on a pair to demonstrate at the front of the class. - Have the whole class repeat all the phrases to reinforce their pronunciation. 6. Homework: Consolidate the content of the lesson. Do exercises on pơage 20 in workbook.
