I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able know how to ask and answer about their hobbies
II.TEACHING AIDS: textbook, pictures, handout.

I.WARM- UP Pictures
-T asks ss to work in groups and answer the questions
What kinds of hobbies are in the pictures?
Which one do you like/ don’t you like to do? Why?
- T asks ss to answer in class. 
- T listen and corrects.
II. PRE-SPEAKING

III. WHILE- SPEAKING
 TASK 2: 
Role- play
- T elicits ss to know how to use the questions to ask and answer about your friend's hobby together (about stamps collections) and can use the following information as help
+ Hobby: stamps 
+ How to collect stamps: buy from post office, get stamps from oversea pen- friends 
+ How to organize stamps: classify stamps into categories: animals, landscapes, birds 
+ Where to keep stamps: in album 
+ Plan for the future: collect more stamps 
- T goes around and offer help if necessary, then calls on some pairs to stand up and practice.
- T corrects their mistakes if necessary.
IV. POST –SPEAKING: “Find someone who”
- T gets ss to work in pairs. Which pair finishes the task first will be the winner
- T gives ss handouts
- T asks the winner to report the results to the whole class and calls on some other pairs to give out theirs.
V. HOMEWORK
 T asks ss to learn vocabulary and do the exercise on the handout.
- Work in groups.
- Look at the pictures and answer the T’s question.
- Go to the board and write their answers quickly

 A: What is your hobby?
 B: Well, I like collecting stamps. I have been collecting them for more than five years.
 A: Really? You must have a lot of stamps now. Could you tell me how you collect stamp?
 B: I get them from envelopes and sometimes my relatives or my friends give me some.
 A: Where do you keep your stamps?
 B: In albums of course. I’ve had 3 stamp albums so far
 A: Do you put them all in one album or do you put them in categories?
B: In categories of course. I put local stamps in one and foreign stamps in another, then I classify them into categories like plants , birds, landscape ...
A: I see. What do you plan to do next?
B: I will attend stamp exhibitions to learn more from experienced collectors to make my collection more valuable.
