I. WARM-UP
- T asks ss something about the test yourself C
* Have you prepared it at home?
* Have you got any difficulties?
- T leads into the lesson.
II. LISTENING
- T asks ss to read all the sentences first
- T asks ss to listen to the tape once.
- T asks ss to listen again and speak out the statements are true or false .
- T asks ss to listen in the third time, the work in groups to compare and discuss the answers with each others to find the correct answers. 
III. READING
- T asks ss to work in groups to compare the answers they have already done to find the correct ones.
-T gives the correct answers to the class.
Expected answers
They gather before midnight and select 12 grapes from a large bunch.
Because the 12 grapes are symbols of the 12 months of the year.
In Iran.
It lasts for 13 days.
They read from the Koran, then all embrace each other and say, “May you live 100 years”
IV. GRAMMAR
a/ - T asks ss to listen and put a tick in the right box.
b/ - T asks ss to join the sentences, using who or which
Earth is a planet which can support life.
The book is about a girl who runs away from home.
A dictionary is a book which gives you the meaning of words.
V. WRITING
- T calls ss to read the suggested sentences in front of the class.
- T checks their writings and help them correct the mistakes if they’ve made.
VI. HOMEWORK
- T asks ss to study all the lessons againand prepare Unit 10: nature in danger, Part A. Reading
- Follow teacher’s instruction.
- Answer teacher’s questions
- Look at the book and listen to the task

- Read the questions , then listen to the tape
- Listen again and say the statements are true or false.
- Listen and discuss in groups to find the Expected answers
