To talk about a boat trip abroad.
Objective
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to express agreements and disagreements as well as give their opinions about the seats plan on a boat trip on Lake Michigan in Chicago.

WARM UP
Ask Ss 
-individual work, pair work, whole class.

2. grammar
Presentation
-form: V + (O) + prep +V-ing
- meaning and using: use this form to report thanking, apologies,etc. not use “say” in this structure.
Ex: I apologies the teacher for submitting...
Note: 
Some verbs dont neeed a prep,
Ex : stop deny, admit, suggest,etc.
Remind Ss that time and place referces often have to change in reported speech.

Exercise1: 
-get Ss to do exercise 1,then check their answers with partner
-check with whole class and provide corrective feedback.
Exercise 2
-Listen to the teacher.
-Copy these words into their notebooks.
-Listen and read after the teacher.
-Some Ss stand up and read alound, others listen and give remarks.

-Read the instructions.

- Let Ss write the instruction on how to operate a TV with a remote control in group of four.
- Move round to check the student’s writing.

- Check their writing and correct their work if they have the mistakes.
