-T asks ss to play a small game: Guessing picture to find the background picture of a typhoon in 2 teams

-T sets the scene:”Typhoon is one of the natural disasters.It’s so dangerous.Today,we are going to discuss about the way to prepare for a typhoon”.

II.Pre-speaking(20mins)

*Teach new words

-T introduces some new words by showing the pictures and giving an examples

-T guides ss to read new words

-T calls some ss to read new words aloud

I. Objective
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to :
-know what should be prepare for a typhoon
Know some ideas on how to live with earthquakes
-improve students’ skills

I.Warm up ( 5 mins ) 
-T asks ss to play a small game: Guessing picture to find the background picture of a typhoon in 2 teams
-T sets the scene:”Typhoon is one of the natural disasters.It’s so dangerous.Today,we are going to discuss about the way to prepare for a typhoon”.
II.Pre-speaking(20mins)
*Teach new words
-T introduces some new words by showing the pictures and giving an examples
-T guides ss to read new words
-T calls some ss to read new words aloud
*Vocabulary practice:Kim’s game
-T devides class into 4 groups
-T asks ss to remember what they see then go to the board and write down their answers
-T gives feedback
-T asks ss to check what preparation they think should be make for a typhoon by themselves then compare their choices with their friends
-T calls some ss present before class
-T gives feedback
-T asks ss to match the preparations to the suitable reasons in pairs
-T calls some ss to read their answers before class
-T gives feedback
III.While- speaking(10mins)
-T asks ss to work in pairs,talking about what they think they should buy and do to prepare for a typhoon and explain why.
 -T calls some pairs to present before class
-T gives feedback
IV. Post-speaking( 10mins )
-T shows a picture about earthquakes and asks: “what is it?”
-T sets the scene:” An expert is giving a talk on how to live with earthquakes.Actually he will give us advice on what should we do before and during an earthquake.Listen to the talk and complete the table”.
-T gives ss time to read the table on page 77 and guess the information to complete the sentences
-T plays the tape twice
-T calls some ss to go to the board and write down their answers.
