- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use “already” and “yet” in the present perfect tense, distinguish the difference between the past simple and the present perfect tense.

Warm up Teacher’s activities Student’s activities Content *Chatting: -Ask Ss some questions about their feeling when wearing deferent types of clothing +Do you wear school uniform? +When do you wear uniform? +Should students wear uniform at school? Why or why not? * Chatting: Suggested answer: -Yes, I do. -I wear uniform on Monday, Thursday, Saturday. -Yes. Because it is very convenient and interesting. 2. Firstly, casual clothes make students feel comfortable Secondly, wearing casual clothes gives students freedom of choice. They have rights to choose sizes, colors, and fashions of clothes that they love Thirdly, casual clothes make students feel self- confident when they are in their favorite clothes. Finally, casual clothes make school more colorful and lively. In conclusion, secondary school students should wear casual clothes. Wearing casual clothes is convenient, comfortable, and fun. 4. PRACTICE Teacher’s activities Student’s activities Content Activity1: -Ask Ss to remind the usage of “since” and “for” -Let Ss read the dialogue 1 on page 19. - Have Ss use the information in the table to make the similar dialogues. - Ask Ss to work in pairs to practice the dialogues. - Call on some pairs to roleplay the dialogue in front of the class. - Check and give feedback. Activity 2: - Set up the scene. -Ask Ss to look at the dialogue and find the position of “already” and “yet” in the sentences. - Elicit the use and the position of already and yet in the sentence. - Ask Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs. - Call on some pairs to roleplay the dialogue in front of the class. - Check and give feedback. *Activity 3: - Have Ss read the example 3 on page 20. - Distinguishes the difference between the past simple and the present perfect. And review the present perfect with “ever” -Ask Ss to work in pairs to ask answer. - Give feedback. * Activity 4: -Review the passive voice of the present perfect, present simple, past simple, and future simple. - Have Ss read the example 4 on page 21. - Ask Ss to give the form. - Get Ss to work in pairs and compare with the partner. - Call on some pairs to answer. - Give feedback. B: No, I haven’t 3.The present perfect with ever. Have/has + S + ever + V3/ed..? E.g: Have you ever been to HaNoi? A: Have you ever read a comic? B: yes, I have. A: When did you last read? B: This morning. ......... 4. Passive voice with modal verbs.
