- Set the scene.
“ There is a forum on the internet, you will read some opinions about the advantages and disadvantages of the internet”
- Ask Ss to read the statements ( on posters / sub-board) and work in pairs to predict they are true or false.

Internet is a wonderful invention of modern life.
The internet is available not only in cities but also in the countryside.
People use the internet for two purposes: education and entertainment.
Bad program is one of the limitations of the internet.
You should be alert when using the internet.-Give meaning of some key words before reading.

- Help Ss with words or structures while they are writing.
Call on some Ss to read their passage aloud before the class.
Give the remark.
4, Post- Writing: (10ms)
 Ask Ss to read some passage and ask others to remark.
-Ask Ss to discuss about how long they spend using internet at home and their knowledge when using internet.
Suggested passage : Benefits of the internet :
-A very fast and convenient way to get information.
-A very fast and cheap way to communicate with your friends/ relatives by means of e-mail, chatting,webcam,etc.
-A very updated source of information : you can get the latest local or global news; you can check weather conditions before you go camping You can find the timetable and maps of the buses you want to take.
-A diversified source of entertainments such as you can listen to music , to the radio ,watch videos ,pay games ,read the novels.
-A rich source of educational courses : you can learn English, look up new words in a dictionary, take a training course ,etc.
5, Homework: (3ms)
 Ask Ss to rewrite the passage at home and prepare the part Language focus.
 Finish network in two groups.
Correct and remark.
Listen to the introduce from the teacher.
Look at the book on page 44 and show the format of a paragraph.
Observe the note from the teacher .
Copy the note.
Read the forum on the internet again and find the advantages of internet.
Copy new words and listen to the guide.
Use the pictures and cues to write the passage.

 Tag question 
Presentation: (8ms)
Explain how to form, to use, to read the tag questions.
Forms: Aux. Verb + Personal pronouns.
A tag question has the same auxiliary as the main clause.
If the main clause has the full verb be, we use be , in the question tag.
If the main clause has “have/ has + PP”, we use have/ has in the question tag.
We use do-does in the present simple question tag and did in past simple question tags.
We normally put a negative question tag with a positive statement, and a positive question tag with a negative statement.
Intonation
If we are asking a real question, we use a rising intonation.
If we are sure about the answer, we use a falling intonation.
+ V-ING (GERUND)
- Give some examples.
Hanh likes apples, doesn’t she?
Nam took you to the zoo, didn’t he?
Practice: (7ms)
Ask Ss to do language focus 1.
Ask Ss to read the dialogue and fill the tag questions.
Call on SS to write the tag questions on the BB.
Correct and give the key.

- Revision of gerunds after some verbs.

Example:

Ask Ss to tell how to change from the directed speech into reported speech in statement, Imperative , question.
Take notes some changes .
Notes: change in tenses, adverbs, the first and second person pronouns ,articles of reported speech.
