A. Objectives: 
* At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to read about "A space trip" for general and specific information.
* Contents: 
+ Vocabulary: physical condition, push- ups, orbit, marvelous, …
 	 	+ Grammar: Review.
* Skills: 
+ Read the text about a space trip then put the phrases in order to show 
what they need and get in joining a trip into space.
 	+ Answer the questions then write the answers in full sentences.

 I/ Organization: (1’)
+ Who’s absent today?
+ What’s the date today?
II/ Checking the old lesson: (5’)
- Ask Ss some questions: 
Who’s the first person fly to the space (in Viet Nam) ? Do you want to to be as Pham Tuan?
- Come to new lesson.
III/ New lesson: (35’)
1. Pre-reading:
- Ask Ss: If you want to travel in the space what would you do? Do you need money? How much? What about health?
- Read the text once and ask Ss to find out new words.
- Explain new words for Ss.
- Guide Ss to read all new words.
- Call some Ss to read new words again.
- Correct Ss’ pronunciation.
- Notices Ss about the sentence using conditional sentences type 2.
2. While-reading:
- Ask Ss to read the passage in silent and put the phrases in order to show what you need and get in joining a trip[ in to the space call on some Ss to explain their answers. 
- Feed back and give correct answer. 
- Have Ss read the passage more carefully and answer the questions, remind them to write the answer in full sentences. 
- Ask Ss to compare their answers with a friend, call on some ss toread their answers aloud in front of ther class. 
- Make necessary correction answers. 
3. Post-reading:
- Expand the topic by introducing group discussion : if you were able to take a space trip , what would you do to prepare for the trip ?
What would you like to bring along ?
What would you do there ?
IV/ Feedback: (3’) 
- Call some to read new words again.

b/ Answer:
1. If you decide to take a space trip, you’ll have to run a lot, swim everyday & do aerobics & push up to have an excellent physical condition.
2. If you want to show you a in perfect health you must a letter from a doctor. 
3. You can see picture of the Earth your country, interseting places, the oceans, the big rivers , the tall mountains.
4. We can see those scenes 16 times a day 
5. We can walk on the walls or on the ceiling.
* Homework:
- Learn new words and study about life on the moon. 
- Prepare ‘Write’.
