Dear Mr. President,

I am writing to you about the problem of fish catching in the lake behind my house. I am very worried because people use electricity to catch fish. When they use this method, many fish died and floated on the water surface. It’s not only fish and small fish but also frogs, toads and birds died from electric shock waves. I would suggest the local authorities should prohibit and fine heavily anyone using this way to catch fish. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing the protection of environment from the local authority.

A. Objectives: 
* At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to write a complaint letter with the right format.
* Contents:
+ Vocabulary: complaint, resolution, prohibit, fine…
+ Grammar: Present simple with suggestions.
* Skills: 
+ Label each section with the appropriate letter.
+ Write a complaint letter to the head of the local authorities.

 I/ Organization: (1’)
+ Who’s absent today?
+ What’s the date today?
II/ Checking old lesson: (5’)
- Call Ss to read the poem.
- Introduce the topic of the lesson. (We are going to study in order to write a complaint letter…..)
III/ New lesson: (35’)
1. Pre- writing:
- Read the text then get Ss to give out the new words.
- Read the new words first then get Ss. to read after 3 times.
- Call Ss. to read.
- Remark then ask Ss. to read them after again.
- Let Ss see the book page 52 and present the form of a complaint letter
- Give the form of a complaint letter with 5 sections: S - C - R - A - P.
- Guide the way to use them in the letter’s content.
- Write on the board and explain the way to write the full sentences in a letter.
2. While- writing:
- Ask Ss to read the situation, then answer the questions:
+ What do people do in the lake behind your house these days?
+ What did you worried?
+ What’s the proplem?
+ What suggestion do you want to make?
+ Any future plans you want to make?
- Ask Ss to base on the letter in part a to write a complaint letter about (Catching fish by electricity)
- Let the students compare the answer with the other.
- Call some students to read the letter.
- Correct the mistakes if any.
3. Post- writing: 
- Call student to read their writing.
- Check and correct.
IV/ Feedback: (2’)
- Sum up the whole lesson.
V/ Homework: (2’)
- Guide Ss to study at home.

5. Politeness - P: Lêi v¨n lÞch sù
 (Më ®Çu vµ kÕt thóc, lêi lÏ trong th­)
 -> S + C + R + A + P = 5 sections
a/ Arrange the sections of the letter:
