A. Objectives:
* At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about means of the media and review gerunds after some verbs.
* Contents: + Vocabulary: town crier, remote control, media, benefit, variety of… 
+ Grammar: Gerunds. 
* Skills: + Know the useful of the enternet
+ Understand and know about the the means of the media.
+ Ask and answer the TV programs which they like then give their own
 point of view about the problem.

I. Organization: (1’)
- Greeting.
- Checking the attendance.
II. Checking the old lesson: (5’)
- Introduce the new lesson by asking Ss to add more information about the media 
- (Brain storm)
Ask Ss to do on the board

III. New lesson: (35’)
1. Presentation: 
- Hang the picture on the board and ask Ss to guess the topic
- Ask Ss to tell the names of the actions in the picture.
- Let Ss read the modal in the book
- Ask them to work in pairs/Ask and answer about their favorite activities.
- Call some pairs to speak out 
- Introduce the situation of the text
- Read the text first, Ss find out new words then write them on the board.
- Give meaning of the words.
- Guide Ss read in chorus 3 times.
- Call Ss to read.
- Remark.
- Give the examples about the Gerund .
- Then ask Ss to make the form
2. Practice: 
- Get Ss. to listen to the tape 2 times carefully.
- Ask Ss to read in silence.
- Call Ss to read
- Use the Sub-board write the table then get Ss to read the text carefully again then give out the right parts.
- Call Ss to fill in the blanks.
- Remark & give the correct the answers.
- Ask Ss to read the text again then answer the question
- Get Ss to look at the questions and the text carefully then give out the answers.
- Call Ss to read the answers.
- Remark then repeat the main contents of the lesson.

- Ask Ss to work in groups of four to answer the question 5. (What is your favorite type of media? Why?)

* Danh động từ: được sử dụng đứng ở đầu câu để thay thế như một danh từ hoặc trong một số câu khi đứng trước nó là các động từ theo cấu trúc trên.
