LESSON 3 : READ
I. Aims and Objectives:
Language content: To introduce some new words relating to the topic : traveling around Viet Nam .
To provide information about sights in Viet Nam, accommodation of four famous sights: Nha Trang, Da Lat, Sa Pa, Ha Long Bay.
To enable the student to improve their reading skill.
Language function: By the end of the lesson, student will be able to get information from simple tourist advertisements and make some suggestions on some tourist sites in Viet Nam to foreign tourists.
Educational aims: To make the student love places in VN and make the best choice for summer vacation when reading advertisements.
Language : 
Vocabulary: accommodation (n), giant (adj), tribe (n), tribal (adj), slope (n), jungle (n), limestone (n), florist (n)
 Skills: Integrated skills
 Education factor : 
To make the students feel proud of their country
II. Teacher’s and Students’ preparation :
1. Method: Communicative approach
2. Techniques: explanation, repetition, substitution, translation, chatting, games, real action or things, pair works, group works, questions and answers, guessing, matching.
3. Materials needed: Textbook, sub board, pictures

These are some famous places in Viet Nam. Today, let’s read some advertisements about places. Now we study the next part “ Read” of Unit 11.
Pre - reading:
Teaches some new words:
