- Teacher asks students some questions :
 + What do you learn in Home Economics ?
 + Do you like it ?
 + What do you like the most in Home Economics ?
- Teacher introduces the new lesson: We’ll read the passage about Hoa. 
- Teacher asks students to look at the picture about Hoa and asks some question:
 + Who is she?
 + What is she wearing?
 + Can you guess Who make it ?
- Teaching the new lesson.
- Teacher opens the track.
- Teacher asks the students to read the passage quickly once and find the new words.
- Teacher writes the new words on the board and explains the meanings of them.
- Teacher asks the students to listen and repeat the words in following the teacher twice.
- Teacher calls on some students to read them again to check their pronunciation.
- Teacher asks students some questions to understand the main content of the lesson:
 + What is Hoa’s hobby?
 + What did she make?
-Teacher opens the track again.

-Teacher explains the request of exercise 4 and give the extra structure: decide + to infinitive/ to make a dress (idiom)/ How to use(idiom).

-Teacher asks students to work in group. (divide class into 3 groups)
-Teacher will give candy for the fastest group and have all correct answers. 
- Teacher asks the students to look at the board and compare their answers with different groups.
- Teacher checks and gives the right answers.
*Game: CROSSWORK
*Find the past form of the verbs:
think, buy, make, teach, give, come, watch, decided.
-Teacher divides the class into 3 groups and gives instructions for them.
- Teacher will give candy for the fastest group and have all correct answers.
-Teacher asks students some question:
 + What is your hobby?
 + What do you do in your free time?
 + Why do you do it?
 +How often do you do it?
-Students answer the teacher’s questions:
 + sewing, knitting, cooking,
 + yes/no.
 + cooking, sewing, 
-Students look at the picture and answer the question.
-Students listen the track.
-Students read the passage.
-Students look at the board and write the new words.
* New words: 
- sew (v): may vá (use flashcard)
- sewing machine (n): máy khâu (use flashcard)
- hobby (n): sở thích
(example: listen to music, go fishing, play sport,)
- cushion (n): tấm đệm gối (use flashcard)
- fit (v): vừa, hợp (definition and example)
-useful (adj) : hữu ích
(definition and example)
- to try on: mặc thử.
(definition and example)
-Students listen and repeat the new words.
-Students read the words again.
-Students write in their notebook.
-Students listen the track again.
- Students read the passage and answer the questions in group.
- Studens look, correct and write in their exercise book.
* Answers:
a. She learned (how) to use a sewing machine.
b. She made cushion for her armchair first.
c. It was blue and white.
d. Next, she made a skirt.
e. It was green with white flowers on it.
f. It looked very pretty.
g. She tried it on but it didn’t fit.
h. Hoa’s neighbor helped her.
i. Finally, it fitted very well.
