I. OBJECTIVES
- Know the work of famers and what is the workplace.
- Read passage about the work and answer questions.
- Develop: reading, listening and writing skills.
II. TEACHING AIDS:
- Pictures , cassette recorder and tape , colored chalk.
III. PROCEDURES:

WEEK:5 Date of planning:12/09/2011 PERIOD:13 Date of teaching:13/09/2011 UNIT 3: AT HOME. A. WHAT A LOVELY HOME ! ( A2 – A3 ) I.OBJECTIVES - Put a question to an exclamation or admiration complain about anything - Describe the objects in the room. - Develop: speaking and writing skills. II. TEACHING AIDS : - Pictures , cassette recorder and tape . III. PROCEDURES : 1. Class organization - Greetings. - Checking the attendances. 2. Review of previous lesson : - Playing a game : putting the thing in the correct rooms in a house. 3 . New lesson : Teacher’s activities Students’ activities content - Questions and answers: - T. makes exclamations after listening to Ss’ answers. - T.asks students to give the form and write on the board. - Ask students to find out a complaint in the dialogue. - Give real objects and ask students to say the sentences using the structure - T. explains the tasks to Ss. - Give some new words - T. asks Ss to perform in front of class. - Ask students to look at the pictures and remember the names of the objects that they're learnt. - Guide students to do the part: " Point and say" + Use: There is an/a... There are some... - Ask some students to give some examples. - Guide students to do "Ask and answer": " Look at the pictures and sentences you've done...". - Ss answer the questions. - Students give the form and write on the board. - Students find out a complaint in the dialogue. - Ss. pair works. - Ss take notes. - Some pairs perform before class. - Ss groupworks to make sentences. - Students write on the board. - Students look at the pictures and remember the names of the objects that they're learnt. - Ss give examples -Ss work in pairs -Some pairs perform in front of class A2.Write exclamations * Questions: How are you today? What a bright room ! What an interesting movie party ! .What a lovely house. A3.Look at the picture.Then practice with a parner Ex1: There is a television. There are some pictures. - Practise followed the teacher's guide. + S1: Is there a window in the room? S2: Yes, there is S1: Where's it? S2: It's behind the TV. 4. Consolidation. - Give Ss some sentences not in order, let them make correct sentences. 5. Homework : - Coppy the exclamations, remember new words & structures. - Prepare Unit 3 : (B1) for the next period. IV. She is a housewife She does the housework and she helps on the farm. Yes, they are. (Because they love working on the farm ). She is 8. 4.Consolidation. - Pair work ask and answer about their parents jobs and places of work . -Some pairs perform before class. 5.Homework : - Say the names of jobs. - Remember new words & structures. - Prepare Unit 3: (B2-3). for the next period. II.TEACHING AIDS - Pictures , cassette recorder and tape , colored chalk. III.PROCEDURES: 1.Class organization - Greeting. - Checking the attendance. 2.Review of previous lesson - Practice talking about Hoa’s parents ( pairs of students) . 3 .New lesson : Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Content a.Presentation - Questions and answers : - Ask Pointing to the pictures (picture of Lan’s family ), setting up the scene : This is Lan’s father, mother, and brother . - T.gives some new words Guides Ss to read. - Ask Ss to read the text again ( 2nd time ) , and answer the questions in pair. - Have Ss listen to the tape. b.Practice - Some pair perform before class. - Teacher gives correct answers - Teacher gives correct answers. - Ss answer the questions. - Ss practice reading the new words. - Ss read the text again. - Students listen to the tape then practice reading the sentences. - Students compare their answers in pairs. - Students match the sentences in pairs. B2.Read Do you know anything about Lan’s family ? -How many people are there in Lan’s family? -What does her father/ mother do? -Where does her father/ mother work?
