I- Objectives: 
- SS can tell about their families members of their families and their occupations. They can ask their friends to get some information.

III- Procedure
1. Warm up:

- Give some questions.
- Practice
Choose the correct sentence:
a. How old is she?
 How old is her?
b. He is a doctor.
 His is a doctor.
Presentation:
- Show them the picture of a family. Set a scene and ask questions.
- Let them answer the questions.
- Introduce some more new words on occupations.
- Play the cassette and let SS listen and repeat without opening the books.
- Listen to the teacher.
- Try to answer all the question given by the teacher.
- Listen to the cassette.
- Repeat the sentences.
1. Listen and read:
New words:
- engineer (n): kỹ sư
- doctor (n): bác sĩ
- nurse (n): y tá
Structures:
+ What do they do?
-> They are students.
+ What does he do?
-> He’s an engineer.
+ What do you do?
-> I am a student.
Practice:
- Ask them to repeat the sentences individually then chorally.
- Reread the text and ask SS to read by themselves.
- Ask questions to check whether they all understand or not, let them answer.
- Let them talk to each other about Mr. Kien’s family.
- Advise them to write a short passage about Mr. Kien’s family.
- Ask them to write another paragraph about their own families.
- Read the text.
- Work in pairs, ask 
and answer.
- Practice in pairs.
- Try to write a paragraph about Mr. Kien’s family, using the reading as a model.
- Ask some more further questions about some other friends’ families.
