1. Đếm các số lẻ trong 
khoảng từ 1 ->20.

7. Hãy đánh vần bằng Tiếng Anh chữ “Chăm chỉ”.
Presentation:
- Ask SS to look at the pictures and determine the situation.
- Introduce the new words.
- Play the tape for the SS.
- Introduce new structures.

- Use pictures to show them names of things.
- Use real things to show them and ask them to repeat.
- Let them pay attention to the pronunciations of this and that.
- Explain how to use this and that.
- Say the sentences and let SS repeat.

Try to discover the differences of “this” and “that” through the teacher’s sentences.

- this / that: đây / đó
Structures:
- What is this?

- What’s that?

Note: 
Present simple tense: 
S + V(s, es)
Model sentences:
- This is my desk.
- That is my school.
Is this your class?
Is that your teacher?
+ Yes, it is.
(Or )
+ No, it isn’t.
Practice:
- Have the SS work in pairs.
- Have one or two of the pairs role – play in front of the class.
- Make any necessary corrections to pronunciation.

Consolidation:
Picture drill (teacher uses pictures from page 26 – 27)
Example exchange:

- “Wh” questions with these / those and living room vocabulary to talk about things in the house.
- Developing: four skills.
II- Language content:

Vocabulary: house, living room, telephone, lamp, armchair, bookshelf, couch, table, chair, television, stereo, stool ≠ stools
Structures:
+ What are these? -> They are 
+ What are those? -> They are 
III- Teaching aids 
Text book, lesson plan, cassette tapes and pictures.
IV- Procedure

- Ask students to play the game “Jumble words”

- ODOR = door
- OWDINW = window
- RECTAEH = teacher
Presentation:
- Show two different pictures to SS.
- Emphasize the location to introduce “this” and “that”.
- Show other pictures of things say the words and let them repeat.
- Mention the /ts/ sound in “chair, armchair” and /s/ sound in “bookshelf”.
- Write new structures on the blackboard:
- Let SS repeat these new structures.
- Tell them a bit different between “It’s ” and “this is ”, “that is ” of the last lesson.
Look at the picture.
