I- Objectives: 
	Competences:
- Should be taught to practice asking and answering about the colors.
- Developing: four skills.
II- Language content:
Grammar: 
- Structures: 	+ what color is her hair?
-> It’s black.
+ What color are her eyes?
-> They’re brown.
- Vocabulary: color, black, white, gray, read, orange, yellow, green, blue, brown, purple
III- Teaching aids:
Text book, lesson plan, cassette tapes.
IV- Procedure:
1. Warm up:

- Ask SS to recall the parts of the body.
- Answer.
Presentation:
- Use a chart of colors to show and tell the name of each color.
- Ask them to repeat.
- Introduce new structures to ask about colors.
- Look at the chart of colors and listen to the teacher.
- Repeat the new words.
- Listen and notice the new structures.
2. Listen and repeat:
New word:
- color (n): màu sắc
- black (adj): đen
- while (adj): trắng
- gray (adj): xám
- red (adj): đỏ
- orange (adj): màu da cam
- yellow (adj): vàng
- green (adj): xanh lá cây lục
- blue (adj): xanh da trời/dương
- brown (adj): nâu
- purple (adj): màu tía
Structures:
What color + is + S(singular)
What color + are + S(plural)
Practice:
- Let them practice in pairs.
- Read the text describing Chi clearly and slowly.
- Ask SS to reread by themselves.
- Have some SS read the text aloud.
- Have them close their books and ask questions about Chi.
- Let them answer individually.
- Practice.
- Listen to the teacher and try to remember the details describing Chi.
- Reread the text.
- Listen to your friends reading.
- Close the books and listen to the teacher’s questions.
- Try to answer.
3. Practice with a partner:
Eg: 
What color is her hair?
-> It’s black.
What color are her eyes?
-> They’re brown.
What color is his book?
-> It’s blue.
What color is her pen?
-> It’s read.
Consolidation:
Notes:
What color + is / are + S?
S + is / are + color.
Eg:
What color is her hair?
-> It’s black.
Homework:
- Write the lesson into notebook.
- Prepare “Unit 9. Section B: Faces (4, 5)” for the next time.

Presentation:
- Retell the words and structures to ask about colors.
- Take notes and learn by heart.
What color + is + S(singular)
What color + are + S(plural)
-> S + is/are + color
Practice:
- Read the text describing Chi clearly and slowly.
- Ask Ss to reread by themselves.
- Have some SS read the text aloud.
- Have them close their books and ask questions about Chi.
- Let them practice in pairs.
- Have them write the text, the questions and answers.
- Let them listen to the cassette and write the number of the picture.
- Retell the new structures to ask about colors.
- Listen to the teacher and try to remember the details describing Chi.

Ask and answer about Chi:
Eg:
Is Miss Chi’s face oval or round?
-> It’s round.

c. They are brown eyes.
d. It’s small.
e. They are full lips.
5. Listen:
A – 2, b – 4, c – 1, d – 3 
1. He has short hair. He has a round face. He has a big nose. He has full lips.
2. He has short hair. He has an oval face. He has a small nose. He has thin lips.
3. She has long hair. She has an oval face. She has a big nose. She has thin lips.
4. She has long hair. She has a round face. She has a small nose. She has full lips.
Consolidation:
Fluency practice. 
Homework:
- Prepare “Unit 10. Staying healthy. Section A: How do you fell? (1, 2, 3)” for the next time.

 Section A : How do you feel? (1, 2, 3,4) 
I- Objectives: 
	Competences:
- Should be taught how to talk about feeling.
- Developing: four skills.
II- Language content:
Grammar: 
Structures: + How do you feel? -> I’m hungry.
Vocabulary: hungry, thirsty, full, hot, cold, tired, fell, would  like, orange juice, noodles, drink, juice
III- Teaching aids:
Text book, lesson plan, cassette tapes.
IV- Procedure:
1. Warm up:

- Play games “Jumble words”
- Practice

Presentation:
- Show SS the pictures and ask them questions “what’s he/she doing? How do you fell?
- Explain the meaning of the questions and help them to answer/express their feelings.
- Use the structures: S + be + adj
- Say the new adjectives and ask them to guess the meanings.
- Look at the pictures and listen to the teacher’s questions.
- Try to answer the questions.
- Repeat the new adjectives.
- Express your own feelings.
- Work in pairs.
- Write the sentences in the notebook.
1. Listen and repeat:
New words:
- hungry (adj): đói
- thirsty (adj): khát
- hot (adj): nóng
- full (adj): no, no bụng
- cold (adj): lạnh
- tired (adj): mệt, mệt mỏi
- would  like: thích hơn
- feel (adj): cảm thấy
- orange juice (adj): nước cam
- noodles (n): phở, bún, miến
- drink (n): đồ uống
- juice (n): nước trái cây
Structures:
How + do/does + S + feel?
-> S + be + adjective
Eg:
How do you feel?
-> I’m hungry.
What would you like?
-> I would like (I’d like)..
Practice:
- Tell the SS to work in pairs.
- Have them practice pairs role – play the dialogue then reverse the roles. 
- Work in pairs.
- Practice.
2. Work with a partner. Describe the people in the pictures:
a. How does he feel?
 -> He’s hungry.
b. How does she feel?
 -> She is thirty.
Consolidation:
Fluency practice.
Learning the lesson at home. 
Homework:
- Write the lesson into notebook.
- Prepare “Unit 10. Staying healthy. Section A: How do you fell? (4, 5, 6)” for the next time.
