- We have a house. In front of the house, there are tall trees. Behind the house, there are mountains. To the left of the house, there is a well. To the right of the house, there are flowers.
Presentation:
- Introduce the situation.
- Tell SS about the place where we live, what there is around.
- Ask SS simple questions about the places where they live.
- Explain the structure.
- Let them practice in pairs.
- Listen.
- Write.
- Practice in pairs and write.
Structures:
+ Do you live in the town?
 -> No, I don’t.
+ Does he live in the town?
 -> Yes, he does. 
Practice:
- Ask SS to read and answer the questions about Ba.
- Tell them to reread the passage about Chi’s house in exercise B1.
- Have the SS listen to the tape or read the short paragraphs about Tuan, Minh and Nga.
- Tell them to complete this table in their exercise book.
- Have them practice in pairs.
- Read.
- Close the books and listen to the teacher’s questions then answers.

- Reread the passage about Chi’s house.

2. Read about Ba. Then write sentences about Chi’s house:
 Chi lives in a house in the country. Near her house, there aren’t any stores. To the left of the house, there is a river. In front of the house, there are paddy fields. It’s very quiet.
3. Listen and check:
